Fee Structures
There are only two types of fees in the orengeo™ auction site (the “Site”).
Final Settlement Fee
Unlike many other online auction sites, the Site charges only the final settlement
fee to any registered seller, regardless of individual or company, based on the
final sale price of an item sold via auction process or direct purchase (“Express
Buy”). The Site does not charge any other fees, such as listing (posting) fee, listing cancellation fee, or
Transaction Service fee. The
final settlement fee is
3% + $0.50 of the final auction price or the Express Buy price.
Payment Process Fee
As with any payment processing – whether retail stores or online e-commerce sites
– there is always payment processing fees that all sellers are required to pay.
Likewise, the Site is simply requiring ALL registered sellers listing items with
the Site to pay the payment processing fees. The payment processing fees are typically
calculated based on the amounts that are processed.
Please review the following payment processing fees prior to listing any items.

By listing your item(s) at the Site, you agree to pay the specified fee(s) when
your item(s) are sold as well as to the terms expressed in the
Transaction Service.
If you do not agree to the fees and the terms, please do not list your item(s) at
the Site.
The Site reserves a right in its own discretion to modify and/or update the fee
structure at any time. However, when the fee structure does get modified and/or
updated, the Site will inform the change to its members for fourteen (14) calendar
days prior to implementing the new fee structure.
Chargeback Policy
As with all commerce transactions, especially online transactions, there will be
a few consumers that are not happy with the product(s) or service(s) received and
initiate dispute(s) related to the transaction(s). These claims (or chargebacks)
usually involve the consumers’ credit cards used to process the transactions. Upon
the notifications of a chargeback(s), the Site will place the amount (s) involved
as pending on the associated account(s) until the issue(s) are fully resolved. The
Site will work with youand the credit card company to resolve the chargeback issue(s).
Upon the final decision of the credit card company, your account will be properly
debited or credited. Following are some guidelines to fight against fraudulent claims
(or chargebacks):
- Respond to our requests for additional information, including all communications
with your buyer(s) and any relevant shipping tracking number(s), as soon as possible
so that we may fight the chargebacks on your behalf.
- For service orders or personal deliveries, ask buyers to print out and sign
receipts stating that your services have been completed to their satisfaction.
- As a best practice, make your business policies visible to buyers before they
place an order(s).
The Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) entitles buyers to issue chargebacks
regardless of a merchant's own business policies. However, if there is evidence
that the buyer had the option to view merchant's policies before placing the order;
your chance of winning the chargeback is greatly increased.
