Buyer's Responsibilites

Bidding and/or Purchasing via Express Buy

Many items on the orengeo™ site are sold in a auction formats where you have opportunities to make bids. Please make sure you read and understand the complete description of the item, including the payment types the seller is willing to accept, destination the seller is willing to ship to, and etc., prior to making any bid or commit to purchase via Express Buy. As a result, when you make a bid on an item, you are entering into a binding contract. The same is true for purchasing an item via Express Buy. Accordingly, you are liable for payment when the auction ends with you as the highest winning bidder or when you confirm the purchase via Express Buy. You will have seven (7) calendar days to make the payment. Not making a payment after you agree to buy it will have negative consequences, such as bad feedback from sellers and ultimately membership being suspended from the orengeo™ site and its associate communities.

However, we do understand that sometimes a mistake can happen and a bid is entered unintentionally. When this happens, you must wait until the auction period ends and contact the seller to request a cancellation of the transaction if you are still the highest winning bidder. If you have committed to purchase an item via Express Buy by mistake, you must also contact the seller to request a cancellation of the transaction. It is important for you to and the seller to communicate diligently and respectfully in order to cancel the transaction and/or avoid any disputes.

Making Payment

Once you win an auction or commit to purchase an item via Express Buy, you will have seven (7) calendar days to make the payment. You are required to make a payment in one of the payment types that the seller has indicated.

Leaving Feedback for the Seller

Once you receive a notification that the seller has shipped the item, you will have up to fourteen (14) calendar days to receive and review the item. When you are satisfied with the item, then you are encouraged to leave a feedback for the seller. It takes just a couple of minutes to leave a feedback. By leaving a feedback, you are ensuring that the seller is legitimate and reputable for other buyers to do business with. In addition, you are enabling the orengeo™ site to evaluate the seller based on feedbacks from you and other buyers.

In addition to the feedback system, the orengeo™ site has established the orengeo™ Transaction Services to ensure that both buyers and sellers are protected while using the orengeo™ site.
